Desalitech is pleased to announce that our CEO, Nadav Efraty, has been chosen to participate in the Unreasonable Goals program hosted by the Unreasonable Group and U.S. State Department. Efraty is one of sixteen CEOs chosen from various industries to participate in a two-week intensive collaboration to tackle the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Desalitech and Efraty were chosen for their water-treatment expertise to help address global problems with water sanitation.
The program launched on July 2 at the Aspen Institute’s Wye River Estate in Queenstown, MD and will run annually until 2030. The 2017 collaborators include: Johnson & Johnson, Lowe’s, Thomson Reuters, Bluescape, Amazon Web Services, and PeaceTech Lab.
The Unreasonable Group brings together the world’s biggest institutions and its most dynamic entrepreneurs in an unlikely partnership it hopes will break down the barriers stopping us from solving the world’s BFPs (Big F—ing Problems). The group draws celebrity support from across the arts and sciences, from Avengers star Tom Hiddleston to world-renowned physicist Stephen Hawking.
